The realization of these two buildings concludes the requalification process of the closed Saffa factory, located in the outskirts of the city of Asti and close to the new hospital. The project has allowed the recycling of one of the most ancient areas from the city of Asti, by constructing two buildings developed in height, a commercial area in the ground floor and a parking space.
The construction of the two towers, project the city of Asti in the same panorama as many other cities in the world that have decided to develop vertically, respecting the limits of sustainability that the conservation of the environment and the energetic resources dictate.
The two towers represent the highest construction impact of the city and constitute a connection with the medieval towers from the historic city center with which, based on their location, a dialog is created between the old and the contemporary city.
They represent a new characteristic sign, especially for those transiting along the Torino-Piacenza highway or those entering Asti from the West, since they offer a new recognizable element that enriches the historic skyline without altering it, and representing a sign of continuity and development.
The buildings are 15 stories above ground with a total height of 48mt. each. The ground floor, composed by the atrium that enters the residential building and is distinguished by a glazed curtain, gives access to an area of about 530sq mt designed for a tertiary commercial scope. The basement hosts technical rooms, car parking spaces and cellars, while the floors above ground are designated to be apartments of several typologies, with different structures and dimensions.
The building is characterized by the ventilated façades in zinctitanium and photovoltaic and for its great aluminum glazed doors and windows.
